In order to educate online users of all ages about safe and secure internet practices, the National Cyber Security Alliance recently (NCSA) recently made an announcement of launching its National Cyber Security Awareness Month. NCSA (National Cyber Security Alliance) is a not-for-profit, public-private partnership concentrated on growing internet safety alertness amongst home users, petite business and the education community.
The campaign of this year, “Cyber Security: Make it a Habit,” is 3rd yearly, national endeavor of NCSA, which is aimed at educating online users of all age group regarding secure and safe internet practices.
In accordance with the AOL/NCSA Internet Safety Research, 80% of all consumers are not supposed to be protecting their PCs appropriately, send-off their financial and personal info open to online hackers and thieves.
With a view to ensuring that the users could not get victim of cyber crime, the campaign of NCSA is going to concentrate on supporting the online community to do three nucleus safeties, deploy anti-virus and anti-spyware software, deploy a firewall and give a regular update to their operating systems and security products – including the similar hands-on intent used by them in bolting their front door at night or turning on their car alarm.
