PC Tools’ Malware Research Center has reported that the year 2007 is going to be more sophisticated with legitimate sites targeted. Users are supposed to be hijacked to fake web sites with the aim of committing theft of their info and money. According to the report, the attacks of Spyware has become threefold seeing that Christmas online spending went up to 50% for past year to more than £7 billion in December.

Similarly, in the year 2006, major flood was seen, which was related to phishing activity, keylogging and direct attempts to commit theft of personal and confidential info from users. The online hackers seem to potentially active to ambush already so that they can allure the users to steal their personal or confidential information.

Being already armed up, PC Tools will release a number of new products comprising free anti-virus and spyware to protect consumers against these threats. The company is going to bring about more competent responses to threats in addition to assisting users with software that does not occupy as much RAM to spot and wipe out spyware and virus threats
