Considering the most recent Microsoft zero-day vulnerability, which was brought forth on September 28, 2006, Determina Inc., Vulnerability Protection Suite, which proactively defends networks against malware that misuses their most common security flaw, of late made an announcement of developing a free VPS Shield, which automatically identifies the patch and does not apply the Shield for a long time.
The latest flaw is not consisted with a purveyor patch, increasingly bringing forth users to attacks that misuse the latest zero-day vulnerability. The pre-launched VPS Shield that was released by Determina for the WMF flaw had been the biggest success.
