The link lands to an executable file that makes a download of a Trojan horse, which is claimed to be capable enough of making download to other nasty software, the very link thereafter displays a photo of a lightly-clad woman. Not only this the same link also leads users to as a minimum 8 websites with info about Africa.
Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant for Sophos, was reported to have said that it has not come to any clarification so far that after all what sort of scam or harm all these pages want to bring about, however a few of the sites are included with ads on them, indicative of that it could be a click-fraud scam, which is widely rampant these days.
Click fraud is related to the many tricks utilized to get clicks on ad banners, to create revenue for webpage owners. In the past, there has been many a chances when Skype was targeted by worms, and not any of which has been reported to bring about massive dent, and this one too could not be any different.
