Fortinet recently announced the most threatening reported malware activities and top 10 most reported high-risk threats for March 2007. The report, collected from all FortiGate multi-threat security systems in production globally, is a service of the Fortinet Global Threat Research Team.
The most widespread threat for March 2007 in Australia had been W32/Netsky.P@mm and its variations. W32/Netsky.P@mm was initially detected in March 2004. The virus is claimed to be consisted with its own SMTP code to disseminate itself through email, ena-bling it to quickly disseminate through inadequately sheltered PCs hooked up to the Internet.
The top 10 Australian threats compiled for March 2007 are:

(8) W32/Istbar.PK!tr.dldr 2.9%,
(9) W32/Agent.BCD!tr.dldr 2.3%,
