Microsoft was charged with violating anti-spyware laws, and a lawsuit has been filed against Microsoft by Brian Johnson, a resident of Los Angeles, who claims that WGA was installed on the user’s computer without his informed consent.
While, on the other hand, Microsoft, defending itself against the charge, regards the lawsuit groundless and says that the WGA was installed with the users consent.
However, the same Microsoft has made a decision to let the users disable the tool and offered them with the required information. Johnson has filed the suit in U.S. District Court in Seattle
