Is your Mobile safe? probably, security specialist, McAfee, has come up with results from latest study that shows that a rising number of viruses, spam and Trojans hitting mobile operators worldwide. Mobile operators, globally, are experiencing more mobile malware attacks than ever before, and spending more time and money on recovery from these attacks. The study is claimed to have spotted that almost half of the operators who have faced mobile malware outbursts have had one within the previous three months. Twice as a profusion of mobile operators spent in excess of $200,000 on mobile security in 2006, compared to 2005.
The Informa Telecoms & Media (ITM) study, sponsored by McAfee, is claimed to be one of the first of its kind to check up comprehensively mobile operators’ prior experiences, existing attitudes and future plans taking into consideration mobile security.
