Nedbank (NED) has teamed up with the major banks of the country promising them that internet banking could be secure, but side by side, the clients were cautioned against making use of public terminals, above all internet cafes regarding internet banking.



The move was taken in the wake of fresh reports of attacks on bank accounts by hackers, who make use of sophisticated equipment such as key logging devices or spyware to steal personal information such as login information and passwords to get access to the client’s account and transfer funds. On the other hand, country’s major banks claims to be fully secure against the malicious hands of the Internet creeps.
