On Tuesday, Gov. George Pataki engaged three measures by written agreement into law, which is going to provide additional protection to online privacy of New York’s consumers. The approved bills are aimed at setting up the Consumer Communication Records Privacy Act; put restrictions on the utilization and revelation of Social Security account numbers, and later on elucidate and classify what is regarded as PC crime.
