The warning pops up in the midst of a deluge of ominous prediction, as fraudsters and malware creators get ready for Christmas full of activity. Michael Greene, vice president of product strategy at PC Tools, accepts that 90% of holiday threats originate because of spyware instead of viruses, as online criminals focus on marauding full of flaw firms and commit thefts of their personal identities.

Jim Meem, director of PC Tools’ Malware Research Center, said:

We are particularly concerned that places like Russia are selling spyware kits and multiplying this problem. We know that users are especially vulnerable during the holidays.

PC Tools gives advice to the users who believe that they have been victimized by hackers to shut doubtful tampered bank accounts and lodge a police report. The US users are expected to get in touch with the (FTC) Federal Trade Commission.
