Spyware Sucks claims that the hackers, who distributed adware, spyware and fake cleaner via the MSN Messenger network some time back, are back at it again. This time they seem to have targeted to infect AOL pages. The report claims that when a user visits a page on AOL Money news, he/she is automatically landed to another domain outside the AOL network, which makes an attempt to download a scanner by making use of those darned messages that keeps alerting the users that Your computer is at risk.

The online thieves persist, and albeit a user click CANCEL or the [X] button a few times the site even then makes its malicious attempt to download their software, which is no doubt a nasty one. Not only this, the predators go to such an extent as to immobilize the CANCEL button, that the users are not left with any other option but hit a click to OK or close the browser entirely! So, beware of such a nasty tactics of the users and don’t hit a click to OK or INSTALL or RUN for anything that pops up out of the blue.
