Sophos is aimed at entwining network access control (NAC) functions into its client anti-virus security product, Endpoint Security, within the subsequent twelve months, told by the chief executive officer of company at the recent CeBit in Hanover, Germany. The Software is intended for giving support to NAC protocols delivered by Cisco Systems and Microsoft plus others, maintained Sophos CEO Steve Munford.

The NAC functions are to be managed from the standalone control panel that Sophos is consisted with for controlling Endpoint Security, told by Munford. In January, Sophos made purchase of a Columbus-based Endforce, which is claimed to be focused in NAC software. Subsequent month, Sophos is going to introduce a separate NAC product, which is to be weaved into Endpoint Security then.
