CDC Software has selected Sophos to defend all tiers of its network against viruses, Trojans, worms, spyware, adware, potentially unwanted applications (PUAs) as well hackers. As CDC Software claims to have many locations worldwide, the decision to combine at the endpoint with Sophos Anti-Virus will guarantee that all global locations get the similar level of security.
CDC Software says that for the next 3 years, its nearly 2000 employees will be provided protection against viruses, spyware, adware and highly unnecessary apps at the endpoint with Sophos Anti-Virus. In addition, PureMessage will make germ-free and/or get rid of viruses, spyware, Trojans and worms in both inbound and outbound email. CDC Software bought Sophos solutions with the help of Sophos Platinum channel associate, known as Softchoice, which is located in Toronto, Canada.
