Sophos has cautioned against a new pernicious attack that has been having an effect on Internet users since 2:00 GMT recently. As said by Sophos, the latest variants of the Dorf family of malware, which also had before distributed as breaking news of deaths brought about by European storms, are now disguised as love and greeting cards.
The latest spam campaign is included with a wide range of subject such as:
“You’re so Far Away”, “I Dream of you”, “Dream Date Coupon”, “Together You and I”, “A Bouquet of Love”, “So in Love” and “Cuddle Up”.
The emails are attached with the files named ‘flash postcard.exe’ or ‘greetingcard.exe’.
