There is a good news for computer users, the threat of viruses have come down, however the invasion of spyware and spam is still on to haunt the users.SoftScan, which scanned emails, found out that only 0.37 emails were in the grip of virus, which is supposed to be the lowest proportion in the chaotic arena of computer. But side by side the firm also alerted the users that viruses writers have not vanished wholly, it could be a change in their tactics or can be said in disguise, and may be stealing data for commercial gain. So be alert!
However, Soft Scan did not heed on the rising trend of the spyware as at the beginning of this month it was found out that number of companies are still not intact from the attack of the spyware, for almost last 12 months they are not intact of its invasion, as it almost went upto 50 percent. The companies, which have more than 100 employees are still afraid of its attack and report that spyware keloggers have come on their network.
