The report claims that the infection rate of spyware has risen significantly since last autumn and 89 per cent of the computers in all through the world have been victimized with an average of thirty pieces of spyware in the 2nd Q of this year.
Report of late issued by Webroot based on the data collected by Webroot Software, Inc. (Webroot) also brings forth that advanced spyware technologies, the latest distribution channels and trust on free anti-spyware programs increasingly contribute to the surprising rate of increase in spyware. The largest number of pieces of spyware has been detected in U.K. in Europe: 30.5 pieces for each computer on average, compared to an average of 24.5 pieces for each PC globally.
