Webroot Software Inc, the primary security vendor, recently made an announcement of the offering of free spyware monitoring service for Japanese corporations. The service is comprised with optional monitoring of spyware on the potentially- riddled sections of desktop & laptop PCs. With the aim of carrying out this service, Webroot has taken up an engineer who will do online or distant monitoring and subsequently give the report of the detected results in an Excel- formatted document.
The specs of the report will be: (1) Infection information if spyware was removed from any workstation, (2) Details on which spyware was detected, (3) Rate of infection
Apart from this, those who are willing to avail this service and want to get rid of the bug of spyware, will be offered comprehensive monitoring by Webroot. The service is given to all firms in Japan.
