According to a recent report by Reuters, Yahoo China filed a suit against Qihoo, a Chinese forum content aggregator and search provider. Yahoo China alleged that 360safe spyware program seemed to be active enough to allure PC users to un-deploy the Yahoo’s Toolbar. Whereas, the spyware program charged that it is Yahoo’s Toolbar that is working as “malware” and posing a threat to their PCs.
Joseph Tsai, Alibaba’s chief financial officer, quipped that this is iniquitous rivalry, adverting to an ex- Yahoo member of staff called Zhou Hongyi who is aware of heads up Qihoo. It is essential to make a note of that Zhou Hongyi filed a suit against Yahoo previous month for denigration.
